I didn’t even mind that Pinhead is now played by a woman. I like the new additions to Clive Barker’s original story, and I think it is fresh and exciting to get new ideas to this franchise. The other new rule is that if you solve the box’s six configuration, you are granted with an audience with the Cenobite’s god Leviathan. Once you are marked, the Cenobites will appear to destroy you. Instead of just another sequel, like so many of the other Hellraiser films, this new Hulu version created new rules and lore on the Lemarchand’s puzzle box… namely that the box can cut you with hidden blades to feed the box. Barker, himself, wrote and directed the original Hellraiser film in 1987, which set a new standard for horror films.
The 2022 Hellraiser film based on and re-imagined Clive Barker’s Hellbound Heart novella. I can do it only on windows machine starting the makemkv with admin rights, but priviledge mode in unraid does nothing.The first really good horror film to come out this year is the new Hellraiser film, exclusive to Hulu. I have some Blu-rays which I cannot backup with this setup. Is there some way I can get this to work without resorting to privileged mode? I then tried to run the MakeMKV container as privileged mode on Unraid and it too seems to be working fine. I then tried running MakeMKV as administrator in windows and it ripped fine. What's interesting is that I tried the same disk on Windows and MakeMKV gave the same error (different drive). MakeMKV v1.15.1 linux(圆4-release) started Disc detected in drive 0 (/dev/sr0): DS9S1D1. I was trying to rip a DVD and MakeMKV container kept ejecting the disk right away and the logs keep saying:Įrror 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:READ OF SCRAMBLED SECTOR WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WP50NB40 1.01' at offset '1048576'
